Skype's new Qik App! - "Qik" to become a new favourite!

The other day I had an email from Skype, which usually to be honest I hardly read and just delete straight away, but this time I stopped and read it. Why? Because they were inviting me to use their new app, Skype Qik.

I see it as a blend between Skype, Snapchat and Vine.

What you do is send private five second video to your friends, family, colleagues or whoever you wish to contact (through their mobile number). However, unlike Snapchat, you can keep viewing your message or the other person's message as much as you like, and any other recent ones you have sent to each other (disappears after two weeks). You can send these video messages to one person or a group, it is up to you. What is also good is that you can pre-record up to 12 videos and upload them at a time more suited to you. And finally, the app itself is really easy to use - pretty much point and shoot!

I have had great fun playing around with the app so far, and would really recommend it to you if you fancy a bit of fun, or even just really enjoy video messaging.
