The Ballroom Needs More Boys!!

I love dancing! I have done it since I was a child; around the house, at parties, and of course at proper dance lessons - in my case Disco (streetdance but easier), Latin and Ballroom.

I'm a girl though, so it is apparently more normal for me to have an interest in such a thing.

But I really noticed a lack in boys, in my lessons and teams we really could have done with more boys, more testosterone! At most we had four, in a team of 18, but that was only for a short period of time.

I am really surprised that boys (and men) don't get more involved with dancing as they are surrounded my ladies, and what (heterosexual) guy wouldn't want to be surrounded by doting girls. Most girls love to go out with guys that can dance. And you know what they say... people who can dance are usually very good in the bedroom. Lol!

Plus guys would be less reluctant to get on the dancefloor at parties and weddings; and they could really show off to their mates, that they really do have some great moves, and would have all the girls (or boys) at their feet!

I have been trying to teach my boyfriend to dance, and have even sugested going to couple sessions with him, but he is not interested; he does not seem to grasp that I would love him even more if he did.

Latin and Ballroom dancing is romantic, elegant, beautiful and a great way to keep fit. You learn and develop many skills such as trust, teamwork, leadership, determination, and more.

Really I am surprised that there are not more people in the UK doing it, especially after how popular Strictly Come Dancing is!

Plus I should note, I really don't mind daning with girls because it is great, and I love it when I see two men dancing together; I just think that in general there are not enough guys taking part in such a great activity.

So, Boys! Men! Please get your dancing shoes on!
