Focus - Film Review!!

This film was great!

Firstly, the fact that it was a true hybrid movie - a good mixture of comedy, romance, heist movie and more, which meant it kept me well entertained, and let me feel a whole host of emotions from start to finish.

The heist and trickery to both the characters and to the audience was very clever! The screenwriting, cinematography and editing played me well and truly. It is great when a movie can keep you on your toes, playing around with whether you should trust the characters or not. Similar to the likes of recent films such as Now You See Me.

The cinematography is really good too! It makes the film look and feel suave, sophisticated and sexy, with the use of bright, defined colours and clarity of image.

Margot Robbie is currently in the spotlight at the moment in the media, and as amazing as she looks, her acting is rather good as well, and I cannot wait to see more of her in more roles.

Plus it is nice to see Will Smith in a good role again (as After Earth and MIB3 terrible to be honest), ans still looking good too! It kind of took me back slightly to his character in Hitch.

You know the film is good and has got you engrossed if you are not ready for it to end when it does!

I definitely recommend the film, and can't wait to get it on DVD!
