Goodbye 'Hart of Dixie' - You Will Be Missed!

Yet again, another great TV show has been cancelled in the States.

My list seems to be getting longer and longer of the amount of awesome TV shows that have got cancelled - do I have bad taste? Or have the U.S. made silly mistakes?

I know usually the reasoning behind the cancellations are either money or falling ratings/views. But, there are still people that do still like to watch it, which is usually still a vast amount, and it is such a shame that they have to miss out; particularly, if like 'Heroes' or 'Flashforward', they are left on a nail-biting cliffhanger (although, of course 'Heroes' is briefly coming back - question is, will it be the same?). I just wish that if they are to cancel a programme, they should allow for a maximum three episode wrap-up to finish it off properly. I think there would be slightly less complaints then.

So the latest TV show to join the list is 'Hart of Dixie'. What I love about it is how much of an easy-watch it is - it is bubbly, humble, light-hearted, warm, emotional and sweet story about the people of a small town in Alabama. It is something I watch when I am feeling a bit low, to lift my spirits. I am glad that it did manage four seasons, as in the U.S. many don't even last that long.

It is annoying, because the money spent on that show, will probably be spent on a new TV programme that might not be as good, and therefore get cancelled itself - it is like a cycle really.

It just bugs me when some crappy TV shows last longer as they are cheaper, when they should cancelled due to their less original and funny jokes. They only probably viewed a lot, because peopl leave them on in the background, or watch them when nothing else is on. That is the case for me anyway.

I am being a bit harsh, as they too have fans, who would equally moan, like I am, if their programme got cancelled to. After all, TV shows are based on personal interest and opinion, and everyone's is different.

I just hope that Hart of Dixie ends properly, and not left open-ended.

What shows do you love that have been cancelled? Let me know below!
